The hosts made us feel right at home.
There was a lack of comfortable seating options in the room, which made relaxing difficult. The requirement to select breakfast choices the night before felt unnecessary and pressured me about my appetite in the morning. I also noticed that the spiral staircase presented a challenge for getting to our room comfortably.

Just a reliable pick for a short-term stay in Sandsend with good value for money. The warm atmosphere made it easy to relax despite some creaky floorboards. Make sure to request your breakfast preferences in advance to avoid any last-minute rush.

Warm hosts and lovely vibes!
Had a fab stay! The hosts were super friendly, going outta their way to make sure we felt comfy. Loved that there were fresh pastries in the bar lounge area. The only hiccup was the slightly creaky floorboards, which made it hard for me to sleep soundly, but the warm atmosphere made up for it.

The Woodlands was a fantastic place to stay. The hosts were so friendly and made us feel right at home. Our Deluxe Double Room with Bath was clean and cozy, complete with a spiral staircase. We loved having fresh milk for our coffee and the breakfast was delicious with appropriate portions.
It was quite expensive for me.

The stay featured a charming atmosphere with delightful grilled sandwiches served at the bar, enhancing the experience. The cozy Deluxe Double Room with Bath had a unique spiral staircase, which, while charming, proved cumbersome for mobility issues. The pre-ordering breakfast system felt unnecessary, adding pressure, and there was a distinct lack of comfortable seating for relaxation.

The hosts exude warmth and go the extra mile, treating our dog to special treats at breakfast. The area is tranquil with wooded paths leading to an almost private beach, making mornings delightful. While the spiral staircase was a bit tricky for me, it added unique charm to our lovely room.
